John J. Leehy, III — Managing Partner

John Leehy: Managing PartnerJohn Leehy has been a leader in the field of payment processing and electronic transactions for more than three decades. As co-founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Payment Alliance International (PAI), Leehy and his team grew this Louisville-based company into the nation's largest privately-held provider of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) serving nearly 80,000 locations throughout the United States. Leehy is known for his "high energy" leadership style and his relentless pursuit of innovative organizational practices. He is credited with repeatedly building powerful and effective teams, and is a highly sought-after speaker on the subject of business lifecycles, organizational alignment and the creation of extraordinary team engagement.

Throughout his career, Leehy has held senior leadership positions with numerous powerhouse payments companies including Financial Alliance Processing Services, National Processing Company, and First Data Corporation. Recognized for his visionary leadership within the ATM industry, Leehy has served as President for the Automated Teller Machine Industry Association (ATMIA), as well as Chairman of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association (EFTA). He also serves on the Board of Directors for Green Technologies Environmental Coatings. In recent years, Leehy led companies have received numerous awards, including Louisville Business of the Year (2017), Fast Fifty Growth Award, Kentucky's Best Bets (2017), Best Place to Work (4 consecutive years), GLI Hot Dozen, Inc. 500/5000, and ETA ISO of the Year (2011).

In 2018, Leehy was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year® East Central U.S. Region, and in 2017 received the ATM Industry Champion Award from the ATMIA. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he was named a University Distinguished Alumni (2013).


Gregory W. Sahrmann — Managing Partner

Greg Sahrmann: Managing PartnerGreg Sahrmann is an accomplished senior executive with a track record of building highly successful companies and delivering superior returns to equity investors. He has extensive experience dealing with private equity firms through all phases of investment, including startups, MBOs and recapitalizations and over thirty years of board level experience with ten different corporate boards.

He is currently Managing Director at Resource Alliance Partners, an early stage investment company, providing capital and professional expertise to early stage companies looking to accelerate growth. Prior to Resource Alliance Partners, Mr. Sahrmann was the cofounder and EVP/COO of Payment Alliance Intl., the largest privately held ATM company in the U.S. with over 80,000 ATMs. PAI was selected the 2017 Company of the Year for the greater Louisville area, also winning the best place to work in Louisville for the last four consecutive years, and was also selected as one of the 2017 Fast 50 growth companies for Louisville, KY.

Prior to PAI, He was the EVP and Managing Officer of the Payment Services Group, National Processing Corporation (NPC), leading the group through the integration of the Financial Alliance acquisition and two years of record growth and profitability. Before joining NPC, Mr. Sahrmann was the cofounder and EVP/COO of Financial Alliance (FA), one of the first full service bankcard processing ISO's and led the company from a start up to $200 million revenue. Before FA, he served as the SVP and Managing Officer of the Payment Services Group for Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) where he led the merchant processing (bankcard), Instant Cash ATM network and correspondent data processing businesses through five years of growth and record profitability.

Mr. Sahrmann served as the ATMIA U.S. Board CoChairman from 2015-2018 and was the recipient of Norwest's highest award for Managing Officers, The Top One Award, in 1989 and 1990. He has both an MBA and BSCE (Civil Engineering) from the University of Missouri.
